چکیده

The present report documents the research activities undertaken in Task 3.3 of the COMIC project. The objective of the three years of research of Strand 3 is to develop a conceptual foundation for designing computational mechanisms of interaction for CSCW applications that can support the complex task of articulating distributed cooperative activities. The present deliverable presents various prototype systems based on the architecture and notation for constructing computational mechanisms of interaction. Each contribution focuses on one aspect of the work presented in previous deliverables. Finally, reference material and usage scenarios for each prototype are included. Vision-Language Integration in AI: A Reality Check

Multimodal human to human interaction requires integration of the contents/meaning of the modalities involved. Artificial Intelligence (AI) multimodal prototypes attempt to go beyond technical integration of modalities to this kind of meaning integration that allows for coherent, natural, “intelligent” communication with humans. Though bringing many multimedia-related AI research fields togethe...

Study of PKA binding sites in cAMP-signaling pathway using structural protein-protein interaction networks

Backgroud: Protein-protein interaction, plays a key role in signal transduction in signaling pathways. Different approaches are used for prediction of these interactions including experimental and computational approaches. In conventional node-edge protein-protein interaction networks, we can only see which proteins interact but ‘structural networks’ show us how these proteins inter...

Interaction between NaY Zeolite and boric Acid: a preliminary computational study

A computational study of the electronic structure and stability of complexes formed between Zeolite Y and boric acid was carried out at the HF and B3LYP levels using 6-31G* basis set. Five structures located as local minimum in PES of complex (structures d, e, f, g, and h). The most stable structure is formed due to hydrogen bonding between two hydroxyl of boric acid and both oxygen of ...
